Laminated glass is well known for staying together when broken, reducing the likelihood of glass fall-out and reducing injuries. Comprised of two pieces of glass that are bonded together with heat and pressure to make a single glazing unit, laminated glass has multiple uses on the exterior and interior of buildings, everything from full curtain walls to interior glass shelves and dividers.

Although laminated glass is often specified just for its sound damping characteristics, typically the other benefits of safety performance, glass shard retention, structural capacity, security enhancement and UV screening properties make it a high value add product.
