Product Description:

PIB-969 is a solvent free, permanently plastic and load-depending ,deformable, one component adhesive/silicone based on polyisobutylene(PIB),which does not cure. The material softened by heat.The adhesion is physical; final adhesion is obtained after a press procedure.

Application Areas

      PIB-969 is used as inner sealant for the manufacturing of insulating glass units in conjunction with an elastic outer sealant. PIB-969 adheres well to glass, aluminum,

Cast zinc, galvanized steel and stainless steel. PIB-969 is also used for bonding/sealing other products in such cases, where besides good sealing properties, also the fulfillment of corresponding specifications regarding the emission of volatile components is required. Examples are the sealing of the lens of the headlamp and sealing of vehicle rear lamps made of e.g.PMMA.

Characteristics:

1.One component, neutral room temperature curing,high strength.

2.Superior adhesion and excellent compatibility for for most building materials.

3.Superior properties to high and low temperature resistant,weatherproof,

ozone resistant and anti-ultraviolet etc.

4.Form superior silicone elastomer after cured, keep excellent adhesion between the temperature of -50℃-+150℃.

May Applications:

1.Curtain wall project glass unit fabrication and other structural project  bond and seal.

2.Other building and industrial uses.

Limitations

1.Not applicable to surface with oozed grease,plasticizer, or solvent.

2.Not applicable to be used as structural adhesive,not applicable to places with poor ventilation.

3.Not applicable to frost or damp surfaces,not applicable to places that will be submersed for long time or damp all year long.

4.Not applicable to surface with temperature lower than 5℃ or higher than 40℃.

Safety Notice

The product is toxicity-free after it is totally solidified.But before solidifica

tion,any contact with eyes should be avoid. In case of the eye contact,please flush with much clean water and go to see a doctor immediately.Unsolidified products should be kept away from children.

  Storage ands self life:

9 months if stored under 27℃ in dry and ventilated place
