TECHNICAL DATA – CHEMICAL CHARACTERISTICS
SURFACE PREPARATION:
GLASS / SPACER – To achieve good adhesion, the glass/ spacer surface must be clean and
free of any residue.
MIXING INSTRUCTIONS:
When using an automatic pump mixer ensure the mixing ratio is correct.
The mixing ratio by weight is 12:1.Curing speed can be adjusted (range of A:B=11:1～14:1 by weight, the more Com B, the faster curing time).
ATTENTION:
1. Do a test on compatibility and adhesive property before using.
2. Com B should not contact the air for long time because it will react with water in the air.
STORAGE:
12 months stored in unopened containers in cool, dry and ventilated places.

MF961 is one component, neutral cure at room temperature, high elasticity silicone sealant. It has excellent flame retardancy, excellent resistance to UV and air aging. Mainly applied in the encapsulation and sealing of solar cell module, photoelectric display, and other electronic products, etc.
★ Characteristics:
Can be extruded directly at 10℃~50℃; excellent adhesion to glass, ceramic, metal materials.
Neutral cure, non-corrosive to the surface.
Outstanding resistance to UV and air aging.
Excellent resistance to low and high temperature; keeping good ability even in the range of -60℃~200℃.

★ Methods of Application:
1. For good adhesion, the surface must be clean and dry without dust. Special materials (such as copper, polycarbonate, polypropylene, polytetrafluoroethylene, etc.) need compatibility test before using to determine the preprocessing method for good adhesive property.
2. In case of limited access to air or low humidity, curing time will be extended.
3. Masking tape should be used for preventing contamination and be got rid of after sealing.
★ Curing Time:
Sealant will be cured inwards after surface curing. Within 24h curing depth will be about 2mm~4mm. Curing time will be extended in the deeper inside air-limited part. Low temperature and low humidity will also lead to curing time extension. It is recommended that users should be patient and give enough time for the sealant curing completeness before handling and packaging the bonded parts. The curing time depends on multiple factors, and should be determined by the specific purpose of sealant.
★ Restriction:
Not applicable in the following circumstances:
Any building materials exuding grease, plasticizer or solvent.
Sealed areas seclusion from air.
Frosted or humid surface.
★ Attention:
1. In case of contact with eyes, rinse immediately with plenty of water.
2. Avoid contacting with skins for a long time.
3. Avoid contaminating food, medicine or cosmetics.
