Techniche of flexible calendering
The film tolerance is adjusted according to the gap of die lips as cast techniche but not depends on the surfaces of two rigid rolllers, which makes the film appearance quality can compare with that of cast technology. The heat melt extruded by plastifying is between roller and flexible belt which convery good surface photics performace to both sides of the film.
The most outstanding advantage of flexible calendering is: Both sides of the film getsufficient cooling in the gap of calender of the second cooling zone, then make the film has good photics and dynam performances. So such things like high degree stretch, high heat shrinkage will not happen, to ensure the film uniform and eliminate the sheet curve.
Product advantages of flexible calendering:
On aspect of photics performace, flexible calendering could compare with three-roller calendering and is better than that of cast. On aspect of physical performance, It’s better than the other two. That’s because the cooling of extruding melt of heat plastics is faster and more uniform which makes it more suitable for latter heat mouding procedure. It inherits the adavatages of cast technique on aspect of apearance. All these imporve thefilm apperance quality and eveness a lot.
