Laminated glass is a safety glass made by laminating two or more sheets of glass with a flexible plastic interlayer(PVB、EVA or SGP). The glass and interlayer are bonded together by heat and pressure.

Shanghai Yaohua Pilkington Glass Co., Ltd. (abbreviated as “SYP”), which was established in 1983, was the largest Sino-British joint venture in China at that time, and became a listed company in 1993.

SYP has municipal-level enterprise technical centre and state first level testing centre, with its major businesses covering float glass, architectural processing glass and auto glass businesses. By the end of 2008, its total assets exceeded RMB 6.2 billion, with the sales revenue surpassing RMB 2.5 billion.

The float glass business kept expanding. In 2000 and 2003, SYP successively acquired Guangdong Float Glass Co., Ltd. (the name was changed to Guangdong SYP Float Glass Co., Ltd.) and Tianjin NSG Float Glass Co., Ltd. (the name was changed to Tianjin SYP Float Glass Co., Ltd.). In 2005, SYP cooperated with Pilkington to jointly invest and set up Jiangsu Pilkington SYP Glass Co., Ltd. and with Glasslink to establish Changshu SYP Special Glass Co., Ltd. As a result, SYP currently owns 4 high quality float lines respectively built from UK Pilkington technology, US PPG technology and Japan NSG technology. The product varieties are: 1.8mm – 25mm premium clear float glass, 2mm – 12mm premium quality F green, H green, blue, grey and black body tinted float glass as well as low iron rolled glass, which is a breakthrough in energy saving and environment protection area.

The Company is also an excellent supplier of architectural processed glass. In 1995, the Company acquired some shares of Shanghai Sunshine Coating Glass Co., Ltd. and was entrusted to manage it. Then SYP successively invested nearly RMB 700 million to build a processing production base in Kangqiao Industrial Zone. In 2002, SYP became the controlled shareholder of Shanghai Sunshine Coating Glass Co., Ltd. Currently SYP has five processing plants in Shanghai, Beijing, Tianjin and Guangdong, and over ten processing lines, and became one of the strongest deep processing enterprises in China. The product varieties are: coating, double glazing, laminating, tempering, enameling, hot bending and Low E glass.

In 2000, the Company acquired Shanghai Fuhua Autoglass Co., Ltd. (the name was changed to Shanghai SYP Autoglass Co., Ltd.) and entered the auto glass business. By the end of 2008, the auto glass capacity expanded to 1.2 million car sets. The Company imported complete set of auto glass processing technology and equipments from Pilkington. The output, product quality and market share all came out at the top of our counterparts.

During its growth and development, the Company kept improving its management ability. In March 1994, SYP became the first glass plant in China whose quality management system was certified by SGS as meeting the ISO9002 requirements. In July 2000, SYP passed the ISO14001 assessment conducted by SGS and became the first glass manufacturer in China who obtains the internationally acknowledged green pass. Now its products successively passed a series of international certifications, and it has formed strong new products R&D abilities. The Company has applied and got more than 10 inventory patents and been awarded many honors for new products development. The SYP trademark was awarded Shanghai Famous Trademark, China Top Brand Products and Certificate for Product Exemption from Quality Surveillance Inspection.

Years of efforts improved the company’s production efficiency and economic benefits, which were higher above other counterparts. The Company has been listed among the Top Ten Joint Venture in China for three times and the best Profit-making and Fore-ex Earning Joint Ventures in China since 1989. What’s more important is that the concept of self-overpassing and innovation has been widely accepted by all SYP staff.

The BXM371B is a new model machine, the main character is that its spindles can work directly by motors, capable of satisfying for economizing on energy, high efficiency and service easy.

It adopts pneumatical polishing, the chamfering spindles can move forward and backward wholely, and the angles can adjust wholely. Stable water tank can get the best waterproof purpose.

The feeding speed of glass can be adjusted with the operation by means of the mechanical step-less transmission. 1. Mechanical : BELLE FILM has excellent, mechanical properties; it has biggest 　　　　tensile strength in all kinds of polyester film.

2. Heat and cold resistance: BELLE FILM‘s melt point about 255℃. Use

temperature　range -70℃－150℃. Transverse direction heat shrinkage less 0.3%.

3. Solvent resistance : most of solvent can not erosion PET, especially in acid.

4. Moist and water resistance: BELLE FILM moisture absorption is very low,

Working process with PVB

Working Environment: in clean room, temperature is 25－30℃. Relative humidity: 40%－50%. Do not open the package, before use, avoid dust and static electricity.

● Cutting and stick : put PET between the PVB, unfolded.

● Preheating : transfer the sandwich to preheating machine, transfer speed and temperature depend on the thickness and quantity.

● Autoclave : temperature 120－130℃, pressure 12KG, holding time depend on the glass thickness and quantity.
